Interested in Sponsoring Formula SAE-A?
Students graduating with FSAE experience will make the finest entry-level employees because they bring with them an incredible amount of real-world knowledge that is impossible to learn from a course textbook. According to many faculty advisers, participation in Formula SAE-A provides an excellent opportunity for students to learn many of the skills now required for today's engineering workforce including elements of engineering design, creativity, teamwork and communication skills.
By becoming a sponsor, your company will receive many benefits and will heighten its brand name recognition among students, faculty and industry representatives.
The education of young engineers is enhanced by interaction with industry professionals, some of the most promising entry-level employment prospects are discovered during the on-site informal interaction. Therefore, you are encouraged, in addition to providing monetary support, to provide volunteers to help with a variety of tasks at the competition. The Competition is held annually in December.

Supplier Sponsorship
Students participating in F-SAE-A are expected to find their own sponsorship
funds to build the vehicles that are estimated to cost in the order of
A$50,000. SAE-A provides guidance and assistance if necessary.
A number of suppliers are enlisted to provide common components should the teams wish to avail themselves of this facility eg. Safety equipment (seat belts etc.), tyres and limited slip differentials etc. Major manufacturers can sponsor several teams. Individual auto plants also act as sponsors to their local college teams.
A key element of the success of any team and a key objective of the program is the ability of the members to organise themselves into an effective organisation by assigning and delegating responsibility for the various program elements. In addition the program develops highly valued "hands on" engineering experience and leadership skills. There is no restriction on the number of team members and may vary from 4 to 50. However an average team would consist of around 15/20 people.
